December 2018 Journal Highlights

This month was an interesting month for me. I didn't

journal as much as I would have liked to, but I did do

some. I tried out a few new things which you will see in

some of these spreads. The materials will be at the

bottom of this post. If I left any out you would like to

know of, please let me know in the comments below.

I recently bought the Pentel Aquash Waterbrush. I have used watercolors

a lot more because of that. It is very convenient, but I am still getting used

to it.

I made a collage with some of the packaging of the things I bought.

I received this cool postcard through Postcrossing. I had to display it in my journal.

I've been loving peachy colors lately. My town fruit on Animal Crossing is

the peach, so I tried to make a peach similar with what I had on hand.

I used watercolor paper to make the leaves. I love the peach & green combo.

I decided to read "Jane Eyre" again. It is one of my favorite books.

I tried to go for a bit of a Gothic look in this spread. I tried my hand

at Gothic calligraphy. It is hard, so I will have to practice some more.

I ended up drawing the letters with pencil first & filled them in.

This was my last spread for 2018. Of course, now we are in 2019.

Let me just say, one of my goals is to work on my calligraphy. (Especially Gothic)
