NOTE 009 - November 2018 Monthly Journal Highlights
I have my journal highlights for November 2018 today!
I received a card with the tea set on it above. I loved the look of it, so I had to use it.
I used a lot of magazine cut outs in this spread, as well as washi tape.
I will list some of the materials at the end.
This spread is one of my favorites.
My friend gave me some craft paper & card stock books.
The gingham is from one of those.
I used a bit of red gouache as well.
This one I added a lot of bulk to my journal because of the ribbon & bow.
I will work with it. I love this color palette so much.
I love texture. I have these pieces from a hornet's nest that fell in the woods
near where I live. I love the textures & the colors. It feels like paper.
So I went with a natural & organic feel. I also used this in this snail mail.
The art of the elephants is from a box of tea I finished.
This spread also has that relaxed & naturey feel.
I have a vintage theme in this spread.
The receipt in the right hand corner I found in one of my grandmother's sewing boxes.
I used that as inspiration for this spread.
I bought some Nishi Skuku Forest Origami Paper. I love it, but it made me realize
that I don't have a lot of green materials. It is so pretty though.
I took this photo in the woods with my Instax Mini. I knew the page needed something
else, so I found this & added it. I love using the trees with the saying. Trees do start
so small, but with time grow big & beautiful.
I spotted this photo in a magazine & had been dying to use it. There is something I just
love about that photo. I also wanted to use my snowflake washi tape because there
has been some snow where I live. You can also see some previews of ideas for upcoming
posts. So subscribe for when they are posted!
